I’ve been so grateful to learn and grow from the opportunities I’ve had as a contributor for the Silhouette blog, The Pinning Mama and Capturing Joy with Kristen Duke. Since my own blog has grown in ways I never dreamed of, I decided it was time to pay it forward and add a few contributors of my own. The timing is especially great as my family is preparing for yet another move. This time we are headed to Alabama for just 11 months and then we’ll be on the move once again.
Normally, today’s post would be my favorite finds from the past month. And it still kind of is except this time my favorite finds are people! I’m so excited to introduce you to these four amazingly talented women, who will begin sharing monthly projects starting next month. Read on to learn a bit about each of them (and show them some love on their social media)!
In no particular order, meet my new contributors!
Jen @ Fresh Crush
I like fresh things. Fresh laundry, fresh ideas, fresh paint, a fresh take… on anything. It changes my mood, my direction, my attitude. This results in half-made crafts, weird food concoctions for supper, and an obsession with buying old dressers from the second hand store. Seriously, I need to stop… I’m running out of rooms that need dressers. I’m a bit cheap, but I feel like it helps bring out my creative style. I like re-jigging things to make them work. And, the idea of ending up with something one-of-a-kind, is. the. beeeest!
If I’m not building, painting, sanding, or changing something… then I’ve probably got the flu. It’s like a limb, I can’t imagine living without. If I can do it, you can do it. That’s why I like sharing as much as I can, in the hopes of inspiring someone out there.
Megan @ Wit & Wander
Megan is a wife, mother, designer, and blogger at Wit & Wander. She has a passion for sharing the things that add joy and creativity to her life. Megan writes about her adventures as a mom and loves to share ideas for raising little ones, dating your spouse, and living an intentional life. Outside of Wit & Wander, she loves traveling, crafting, photography, and attempting to cook.
Bethany @ The Southern Couture
I’m Bethany and I blog over at The Southern Couture. I find joy in the small things in life. There is a certain happiness and satisfaction in imagining a new craft or project and then being able to create it yourself. I enjoy craft projects from sewing, paper-crafting including cards and stamps, mod podge, DIY upcycles, and just about any other craft you can imagine. I love to eat just as much and sharing delicious recipes with y’all too. Even as a young girl, I enjoyed crafting and being able to learn new skills. This love has just continued to grow over the years.
Amy @ Glitter in my Tea
Meet Amy, the face behind Glitter in My Tea. A self-proclaimed typography junkie, and amateur graphic designer, she lives and loves to create. From tea towels to colonial houses, she admires pretty things, and delights in everything Disney. Other passions include Kate Spade, sprinkles, donuts(sprinkled donuts), smooching her son’s chubby cheeks, and anything sparkly or colorful.
Stay tuned to see what these lovely ladies come up with starting next month!
