Silhouette Saturday: Rise and Shine Hand-Lettered Cut File. This post may contain Amazon Affiliate links.
For about three years now, I’ve been hemming and hawing around purchasing a Creative tablet for graphic design. It’s not that this one is even that expensive, it’s just that I’m so used to designing with pencil and paper and then digitizing my designs. But my Macbook is starting to go so it was time to invest in a new computer (I opted for an iMac this time!) and the Wacom Intuos Creative Pen and Touch Tablet just kinda hopped in my cart.
I mean, since I already had to foot the bill for the iMac (ouch), I figured…Go big or go home.
This is the Intuos. It means I can design digitally right from the get go! It takes some getting used to but today’s free cut file is the first thing I lettered using it. I’m sure within a few more weeks using it will come naturally and I’ll be an addict.
You can download the free Rise & Shine cut file here.
Personal use only, please. Anything you sell is considered commercial use. My designs are ©Dawn Nicole Designs, LLC.
Purchase the commercial use option for this file in my Etsy shop.
Notes: Please note this is a .studio3 file. If you haven’t updated your software, you need to do that first to be able to use this. It’s always a good idea to keep your software up to date! You can update it here.
You could put this design on a mug with permanent vinyl…
Tip: When cutting small/detailed designs on vinyl, it helps to slow your blade speed down so you get a clean cut. A speed of 2 usually does well.
