After trying to learn Brush Lettering for several months, I found just what I needed. The 30 day plan breaks it down to manageable chunks. I find this a very relaxing way to end my day. And my skills are improving. Thank you, Dawn Nicole!”

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need good handwriting to be good at brush calligraphy?
Nope! Mine is pretty awful. I consider this more of a form a drawing than handwriting.
Can lefties do it too?
Yes, I’m a lefty myself. You’ll hold the pen at the same angle as a righty would, just with your left hand. Lefties sometimes just need a little more practice to see progress.
What supplies do I need?
Just a printer, paper, and small-tipped brush pen. I recommed the Tombow Fudensuke (hard tip or soft tip) and HP Premium 32 Copy Paper. I get both on Amazon. Whether you use hard tip or soft tip Fudenosuke is personal preference. I suggest getting the combo pack to try both!
How do I use the bonus JPG worksheets on my iPad?
Check out the video lesson linked in your PDF download. I included a section on how to use the worksheets in Procreate. Any iPad with Apple Pencil Capabilities will work!
The DND Basic Brush from my first Procreate set is the recommended brush to use for iPad Calligraphy.
Do you sell physical workbooks?
Not at this time. We’re a military family and we move a lot so running an all online business is most conducive to that. Plus, a physical workbook you can only use once. With a PDF, you can print an practice as many times as you wish!

“Best starting point!
I’m brand new to this whole lettering thing, and I was getting overwhelmed with all the information out there on the best place to begin. I had tried watching tutorials, using others’ worksheets for practice, but it wasn’t even covering the basics. Being brand new, starting with words when I didn’t understand the strokes was frustrating. Then I found Dawn! Not only did I quickly fall in love with how much free content she had available, and her ability to simplify everything in a way I could easily understand, but this 30 days of drills was such a perfect base to allowing me to take off and quickly become obsessed with my new hobby. Strongly recommend you make the same leap! Well worth the money!”
