Illustrator for Beginners: The 5 Most Essential Tools
Illustrator for Beginners: The 5 Most Essential Tools
Hey hey! Jenna from love lake living here, so nice to be back on Dawn Nicole today!
I was thinking recently, if I could go back to my early days using Adobe Illustrator and give myself a few tips and tricks that would make my life SO much easier, what would they be?
So many things came to mind, but the following 5 tools/shortcuts/palettes are ones that I use every.single.day and can’t imagine my life without.
So, if you’re brand new to AI, then this video is for you! Even if you’re pretty familiar with AI, there might be a thing or two in here to learn (for example, I’d been using Illustrator for about a year before I realized that Align and Pathfinder existed – for shame!). This video is only 4 minutes long and has captions, so feel free to watch on mute, in case you’re reading at work. 🙂
What are your favorite AI tools? I have so many that I almost included but realized that “The 25 most essential Illustrator tools” might be a little much. 🙂 And there’s always next time.
If there are any kinds of Illustrator tutorials you would like to see, please leave your suggestions in the comments. While I don’t claim to be an expert (by any means), I like to think I have an advanced working knowledge and love sharing these videos with you!
