But First Makeup Cut File + Print. This post may contain affiliate links.
I love makeup, but truth be told, I don’t wear it nearly as often as I’d like (and no matter what you hear, 30s are not the new 20s…hello fine lines and gray hairs). Now that my kids are getting a bit older, I’m trying to at least put on a bit each day (concealer has become essential after all the sleep loss 3 kids causes!). And wearing it really makes me feel good. So, in celebration of the wonders of makeup, I decided to jazz up my makeup holder and create a free printable too!
Here is what you’ll need for this project:
- Silhouette CAMEO
- Vinyl (I used this Gold Ultra Glitter from Expressions Vinyl)
- Transfer Paper
- Hook Tool
- But First Makeup Cut File (click to download)
- Acrylic Makeup Organizer (This one was in Target in the home aisles, near the back-to-college goods.)
Note: Please note the free cut file is for personal use only and is a .studio3 file. If you haven’t updated your software, you need to do that first to be able to use this. It’s always a good idea to keep your software up to date! You can update it here.
Creating the Project:
- Open Silhouette Studio. Open the cut file.
- Re-size, if needed, to fit your organizer.
- Cut the design on vinyl.
- Weed with hook tool.
- Use transfer tape and the scraper tool to apply a word to each drawer.
So simple but oh so pretty in the gold glitter vinyl and a classy Serif Font (the front is Adobe Garamond Pro).
So I added a white background to show you better how it looks!
I just treated myself to nice new makeup brushes that I’ve been wanting for about a year now. My $1 Target ones we’re cutting it anymore! (I’ve been using the Alima Pure line of makeup for about 3 years now and LOVE it. My brushes are from them.)
You can pop this print in a frame for your bathroom too!
***Download it here***
The print will open a high-res JPG in a new window. Right click to save to your computer.
The print is for personal use only, please.
Print includes watercolor clip art by AF Studio (it came with my purchase of the lovely Shallom font).
