But First Sleep Free Planner Stickers + Cut File
But first, sleep. Because sleeping is my favorite and I missed out on so much of it when my kids were babies! ? Because I love my job so much, I tend to work too much. So, I like to stick these in my planner to remind me to rest.
I’m sharing some freebies with you today so you can make your own!
But First Sleep: Free Planner Stickers
- Print and Cut Silhouette Cut File (with registration marks)
- PDF (so you can print on your own sticker paper if you’re not a Silhouette user)
But First Sleep: Free Cut File
*Please note: All freebies are ©2016 Dawn Nicole Designs® / Kimber Dawn Co. and are for personal use only. This means you cannot sell anything you create with the file unless you purchase a commercial use version. You can find commercial use versions of many of my hand-lettered designs in our shop using the button below!
FAQ: What font is that?
I’m so flattered when people ask that, but it’s not a font. Unless otherwise noted, most of my designs are drawn by hand and digitized or done directly on my iPad Pro. This design was hand lettered using my iPad Pro.
If you’re using the Silhouette to make your stickers, follow these steps!
Supplies:
- Silhouette CAMEO
- White Sticker Paper
- Light Hold Cutting Mat (optional but so nice when working with paper!)
First, open up the design file in Silhouette Studio. Then, send to your printer and the sticker sheet should look like mine does above.
Next, place your sticker sheet on your cutting mat and load it into your CAMEO. Then send the design to the Silhouette to be cut. I’ve pre-set all the registration marks and cut lines in the file. It will read the registration marks and go to work cutting!
If you have trouble getting your machine to read the marks, be sure it’s in a well-lit area. Mine read on the first time when I made sure to position it so it was well-lit.
And there you have it! Your own set of custom planner stickers.
If you’re using the cut file version, try making a pillow with fabric paint or HTV!

FAQS on Using Cut Files…
I’m getting an error message when I click the .Studio3 file and it won’t open.
Yep, that’s because your computer doesn’t know what program to use to open it. To open it, you need to open Silhouette Studio first. Then go to File>Open and select the file from your desktop (or wherever you saved the cut file). Voilá! It works!
How Do I Use the SVGs?
You will need the Designer Edition of the Silhouette Studio software to open an SVG file. You can get it on Amazon here. They sometimes have it as low as about $25 which is about half of retail and was available at the time this posted. If you have the Designer Edition of the software, here is a video tutorial on using SVGs.
How Do I Get the Designs into My Silhouette Studio?
Unless you’re buying from the Silhouette Design Store, designs won’t automatically download to Silhouette Studio. Whomp, Whomp. But don’t worry, it’s still easy to save them to your library! Here’s how:
- First, save the downloads to a folder on your desktop.
- Then, open Silhouette Studio.
- From within the software, Go to File>Open and select the design(s) you want to use.
- Once you have them open you can go to File>Save>Save to Library to save them in Silhouette Studio.
I hope you enjoy the But First Sleep Free Planner Stickers + Cut File!
