I wanted my mantle to be simple but festive and I didn’t want to spend more than $20 since we won’t be here over Christmas (we’re headed to Chicago to spend Christmas with my in-laws!). So I used Christmas decorations and other home décor we already had on hand and got creative.
The garland I bought 5 years ago at CostCo (for just $40) and I still love it. It’s so gorgeous in person! Decked out with feathers, flowers, sparkles, and ornaments. I did light up but I can’t find the darn bulb that’s out so I gave up. It’s still super pretty un-lit. The red balls are just wicker and painted red and they sit on top of candlesticks. The reindeer is a stocking holder and it’s holding a set of jingle bells.
You can find my tutorial for the hanging Christmas sign here and the cute subway printable which you can download here from The Crafted Sparrow (it’s the top image that doesn’t show up in her post but you can still download and print it. You can see what it looks like below). I love it! So I just printed it out and stuck it in a frame I had handy.
This Christmas Swag was the only $20 I spent and I got it from CostCo a few weeks ago. It only had gold in it so I added some of these red flowers which I normally put on our Christmas tree.
