Free Font: The Lolly Script
Who else loves a fabulous font? And when it’s free, it’s even better, right?!
My friends at The Free Design Club recently launched an awesome new site that’s giving away freebies on the regular.
(In fact, there is another great free font over there right now, so be sure to pop over and grab it!)
In exchange for helping them get the word out about their new site, they offered up a free font of my choosing to share with you!
I chose the lovely Lolly Script font. I’ll share a bit about the font and then you can download it and get creating. ?
About The Freebie
- The Lolly Script is a thick script based font.
- Personal and commercial use allowed.
- Download and use The Lolly Script for anything you’d like!
- The Lolly Script is 100% accessible in all programs including Microsoft Word, Silhouette, Cricut, Photoshop, Illustrator and more.
- Includes over 100 different glyphs.
I created a little “preview” graphic below so you can see all the letters, glyphs, symbols, and numbers the font includes.
It’s a great font for creating your own worksheets to practice brush calligraphy in any words or phrases you’d like.
Download the Free Font
Have a friend that would love this freebie! Share away. But we ask that you please share this font only by sharing a link to this blog post where you friend can grab their own copy.
The download is a zipped (compressed) file. Some browers automatically unzip file upon download, but if you need to know how to unzip a file, keep scrolling for more info.
Downloading and Installing a Font
Please note: I highly recommend using a computer and not a phone or iPad since they don’t lend well to zipped files without added steps
How to Do Unzip a file?
On a Mac, simply double click the zipped file to unzip it.
On a PC, save the zipped file to your desktop. To unzip it, press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select Extract All, and then you’ll have access to the fonts.
How Do I Install a font?
The easiest way is to Google “How to Install a Font on a Mac (PC)”. There are a ton of video tutorials on YouTube that will help you!
On my MacBook Pro, I can simply double-click a font file and it will open up in Font Book and prompt me to install it.
Still having trouble?
Try to Google it because Google can pretty much tell you anything and everything you need to know! ?
Thanks again to The Free Design Club for sharing this freebie with us.
We hope you enjoy the free font!
