Merry & Bright Christmas Coloring Page + Card
As wonderful as the Holiday season is, it can also be a bit crazy! It’s nice to take a some time to sit down and just relax. Coloring and doodling are such fun and simple way to relax and unwind. So grab a hot mug of coffee or tea and a cozy blanket and get ready to color the stress away!
Before I got started working on designing this coloring page, I popped over to Michaels (which is conveniently 0.3 miles from my house, have I ever mentioned that? It’s awesome!) and I grabbed a few pretty Prismacolor Premier Coloring Pencils in bright fun colors as well as a Prismacolor Premier Illustration Marker in black.
Make sure to check out Michaels coupons for additional savings, in newspapers and online!
After I sketch out the coloring page and trace it in the black marker, I move to Adobe Illustrator and digitize it to create a final print.
I thought it would be fun to create a card version of the page as well. The card can just be printed on letter sized cardstock and folded in half. I trimmed mine down a bit to about an 8×10 size.

Were the bright colored pencils you got, in a separate pack of their own? If so, what were they called? Thank you for your time!

Hi Amy! They come both ways in the fine arts section at Michaels. I bought the ones shown a la carte. They are the Prismacolor Premier colored pencils. 🙂 Happy shopping!
Dawn, this is fun pages! Thank you! I have question. There are Soft Core and Thick Core, which one would you recommend? Do know what’s the different?
Thank You!
Thanks Helen! The soft core are better for blending so I’m partial to those! The hard are more for lines and drawing, the soft for coloring and blending. 🙂
So adorable! I love coloring!
These are so adorable! This makes me so excited for christmas x
