Several months ago, I was contacted by the managing editor of Somerset Home and asked if they could do a one-page feature on my French Typography Trunk Makeover. I was ecstatic of course but it also meant keeping a huge secret for months! I’m the kind of person who can’t buy gifts ahead of time…I always end up gifting them early.
Anyway, I posted a short video of the “reveal” on Instagram just a few minutes ago because (1) I’m impatient and (2) for a stay-at-home momma who is in yoga pants with paint somewhere on her 99% of the time, to officially be a “published artist” is pretty exciting stuff.
The only bummer is there is a typo on my website address in the magazine but regardless, I’m so incredibly honored to be among so many talented people in the magazine. It’s beautiful and chock full of gorgeous projects and home décor ideas. I’m fairly certain it’s available at places like Michael’s and book stores with large magazine sections if you really want to check one out. 🙂
Thanks so much to all of you who read, comment, pin, and share my posts. It means the world to me to be able to spend a lot my days doing what I love and hopefully inspiring others to get their DIY on too.
