Winter Bookmarks Coloring Page
Winter Bookmarks Coloring Page
This bookmark coloring page set I did earlier in the year has been one of the top posts all year and many of you requested a new Winter themed set.
So, I sharpened my pencils and went to work drawing!
So grab your markers, crayons, pencils, or watercolors and some card stock ready to create these DIY Bookmarks!
You can download the printable coloring page BELOW
Note: My prints and designs are copyrighted and for personal use only, please!

Steps to make the bookmarks:
- Print on white card stock.
- Color.
- Cut.
- Add a layer of colored card stock if you like (shown below)
- Laminate with these nifty self-laminating sheets. No machine needed!
Coloring Supplies
A lot of people ask about my favorite coloring supplies so here’s what I usually use:
- Paper: Ultra Smooth White Yardstick. This one is perfect for use with markers!
- Colored Pencils: Tombow Recycled Colored Pencils
- Water-based Markers: Tombow Dual Tips are the Bomb for both coloring and lettering.
- Alcohol-Based Markers: Copic Sketch Markers layer and blend dreamily.
- Gel Pens: Sakura Gelly Roll Pens are a staple for adding details over marker or colored pencils!
- Paper Trimmer: I design all coloring pages to be 8×10 so you can easily trim and frame your artwork! A paper trimmer gives you nice straight lines if, like me, you have the straight line cutting skills of a 5-year-old.
Happy coloring!

Thank you for the free bookmarks – they’re awesome!
You’re so welcome! 🙂
Ha! It’s my new laptop. It’s not used my often used but perhaps not “actual” words like my old laptop so it corrects them to weird things. I even changed that and it changed it back! I type “Tombow” Markers a lot and it changes it to “Tomboy” (did it just now!). Computers these days think they’re smarter than we are. Ha! Thanks for pointing it out so I can make sure it changes it this time. Happy Friday LouAnn!
I love these bookmarks!! Pinned. Your giveaway is pretty darn awesome too!
I already hopped around and got pinning 🙂
XOXO
Thanks so much!! 🙂 Have a great weekend!
I love the bookmarks! I can’t wait to print and color them. Thanks for an awesome giveaway too!
Thank you so much! I’m gonna use these with my middle schoolers in my Daring School Library Media Center Makerspace area! Can I please use one of your pictures of the bookmarks (with credit & link back, of course) on our blog? Thanks again, you rock!
@GwynethJones – The Daring Librarian
Hi Gwyneth! Sure you can use a pic and link back. Thank you so much! 🙂 Have a great rest of the week! -Dawn
I just found these via Pinterest! So cute. My weekend’s craft with my little girls is all set. Thanks so much!
Hi Jessica! Thank you so much for the kind words. I hope you ladies have fun creating them this weekend. It’s so rainy here so I’ll be doing the same with my girls (and my son if I can tear him away from his xbox!) 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend! -Dawn
Thank you so much! it’s so beautiful 🙂
I will be having a good time coloring and using it.
I love these bookmarks. Thank you so much.
Just wanted you to know that I shared them on my blog as part of a 30 Days of Pretty Christmas Printables series.
Thank you for all that you do!
Thanks! Downloaded these and the other ones. Some people from my son’s school are going to get together to color a whole bunch of them and donate the colored bookmarks to a local non-profit that donates books to low-income families. The bookmarks will be a nice personal touch. 🙂
Thanks so much Debbie! I hope they enjoy coloring them! 🙂
Thank you so much!! 🙂
Love the bookmarks! Would it be okay to print them for a free adult coloring program at a public library? I’d probably need to print about 50, so I understand if you don’t want them used for that.
Hi Linda! Yes that’s ok. 🙂 I just ask that the copyright info is kept on the pages. Thanks and happy coloring!
Hi Dawn,
Thank you for your bookmark designs. I just wanted to let you know that I printed off several bookmarks to color. When I’m all finished with my coloring I’m going to put each one inside a person’s Christmas card as a gift.
I just wanted to ask for your permission to do this, before I sent my cards out.
Hi Maureen! What a cute idea. That’s fine by me! 🙂 Thanks for asking!
Hello Dawn,
I would like your permission to use your bookmarks with my students. I’m a librarian and can not seem to keep them supplied with bookmarks, I know if they color them and personalize them they will keep up with their bookmarks. Of course, I would like to place your name and a copyright date on the back of the bookmarks to give you proper credit and to help teach my students about copyright.
Thanks!
Hi Donna!
Yes, I’m happy to grant library use so long as my copyright info appears on the printouts, as you mentioned. 🙂
Enjoy!
Dawn
Hi,
I bookmark your lovely post! Would it be okay to printed them for a free Young coloring program at a publicly library? I’d probably need to print about 60, so I understand if you don’t want them used for that.
Hi Jaims,
I grant library use so long as my copyright info and artist credit appears on the printouts. 🙂
Thanks!
Dawn
Love these!!! Thank you.
Thank you!! My daughter is having a book/reading themed birthday party and this is a perfect activity!
