Bookworm Procreate Color Palette
My bookworm color palette draws inspiration from the cozy, nostalgic world of literature, blending tones that evoke the charm of old libraries and well-loved books. Playful pops of pink and coral keep it light and fun, while hints of grassy green and sky blue add a touch of whimsy inspired by reading on a blanket in the park.
- Check out my Procreate Tutorials if you want some lettering inspiration for this palette.
- Want more color inspiration? My monthly newsletter includes a free Procreate Color Palette. You’ll also receive my Besties Procreate Brush set as a sign-up gift.
- This artwork was created using various brushes and stamps from my Procreate Brush Sets, including my latest sets: Maximalist Lettering Kit and Super Cute Collage Stamp Kit.
- The Bookworm graphic and lettering style will be featured in my Bibliophile’s Coloring and Lettering Book, which will be released in October 2025 and is available for pre-order on Amazon now!
Importing a Color Palette into Procreate
Color palettes created specifically for Procreate are in a .swatches file format.
- Download the .swatches or .zip file color palette onto your iPad.
- If the file is zipped, uncompress it first. To do this, open the Files app, then find the .zip file you want to uncompress. Tap the .zip file. A folder containing the .swatches file will be created.
- Open Procreate and select the Palettes tab.
- Tap the + in the corner. Choose the New from file option and locate your .swatches file.
- Tap the .swatches file. It will now appear in your color palettes.
Noteworthy
- If you download the Color Palette on a MacBook, you can AirDrop it to your iPad, which should auto-install into your Procreate Palettes. This is how I do it most of the time. It’s ultra-easy!
