✏️ I originally drew this artwork as a coloring book page for my newest book with @better_day_books.
📘I’m currently reading “Alchemy of Secrets” by Stephanie Garber. I loved her “Caraval” series, and her “Once Upon a Broken Heart” series is on my TBR.
✍🏻 All shading was done with my Illusion dual shader Procreate Brush. It adds shading and texture simultaneously and is one of 13 brushes from my Charmed Brush Kit. This was seriously the most fun I’ve had lettering in ages! 🖤
This piece was inspired by a classic line from the ‘90s cult fave The Craft (witchy vibes, anyone?) and sweet Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
In the process video, you’ll see me mixing and matching a bunch of different lettering styles. It’s kind of like solving a puzzle without the picture on the box! ✨
Some of the letter styles are ones from past artwork, while others come from the alphabets I’ve designed for my physical books and instant download lettering style workbooks in my shop.
